A Renewed Resale Shop for a Brighter Tomorrow

Our Resale Shop is more than just a place to find affordable goods—it’s a community hub where neighbors connect and support each other. We have already invested $30,000 into transforming the space, the progress is tangible. Yet we need an additional $45,000 for completion. The front section is completed and ready to welcome everyone. The remaining work includes:

• Installing heating and cooling systems
• Refining floors and finishing out sheetrock.
• Painting and installing new doors
• Creating dedicated spaces like offices, three bathrooms, and showers in the back.
• Each of these improvements is a step toward a welcoming, safe, and efficient space for the entire community.

Securing Our Space: Roof and Electric Repairs

A safe environment is our highest priority. We need to address some essential repairs, including roof repairs and finishing our electric systems, with an estimated cost of $1,500. Though modest compared to our other projects, these updates are crucial for ensuring our buildings remain secure and comfortable for all who use them.

Revitalizing the DISC Church

Our church is the heart of our community—a place where faith, fellowship, and hope come together. We are planning significant upgrades to create an even more inviting space for worship and connection. Our planned improvements include:

• New flooring throughout the church
• A complete bathroom renovation with an additional facility
• Fresh paint for both the interior and exterior of the church and Thrift Store
• New signage that reflects our renewed vision
• These enhancements, estimated at $15,000, will help us create a sanctuary that truly reflects the love and unity of our congregation.

Empowering Through Crandall Life Skills

Our commitment to community extends beyond our church walls. Crandall Life Skills is dedicated to empowering individuals by providing the necessary tools and support for a better quality of life. Our plans for this vital program include: 

• Acquiring two new vans to improve transportation
• Converting a well for sustainable water access
• Upgrading bathrooms and painting interiors to create a welcoming environment
• Repairing existing vehicles, addressing roof repairs, and updating essential
• equipment like lawn gear and our bobcat
• Every upgrade is designed to help individuals thrive and to strengthen the supportive network that our community depends on.
